HAMILTON WELCOMES UKRAINIANS 

Since February 24, 2022 Ukrainians have been fleeing their homeland from the Russian invasion and seeking shelter in foreign countries. Some have been able to return home, and there are those that are still arriving in our local community. If you are a newcomer, to Hamilton, the link below will help you navigate your new home.

The City of Hamilton continues to offer a local community response to support Ukrainian arrivals.

Proactive coordination between the local Ukrainian community, the City, immigration/resettlement agencies, public health, and health care agencies, social services (housing and income supports), child care, and education is needed to safely support and warmly welcome the arrival of Ukrainian newcomers.
