Ukrainian Community Celebrates Easter...

Volunteers gathered in the parish hall on Pine Street on Easter Weekend and another drive was held in Millcroft Park on Sunday, which was Easter for those of the Ukrainian right. As a result, dry goods, sleeping bags, medical supplies etc. will be shipped to the front lines in Ukraine.

Many summer jobs left unfilled...

Statistics Canada data indicates that Halton youth aged 15-24 had an unemployment rate of 11.8 per cent during the first quarter of this year, a decrease over last year’s 20.1 per cent unemployment rate, according to John Davidson, director of economic development at Halton Region.

Canada Day in Burlington welcomes Ukrainian Refugees

...several refugees [were] treated to a Canada Day Meet and Greet luncheon at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church in Burlington. Another was Mia Aivorji, who was born in Ukraine, but had been working in Nigeria when the Russia-Ukraine war broke out in February.


За останні місяці українська громада Канади активно включилась у допомогу новоприбулим з України. Багато новоприбулих зараз і в Гамільтоні, Онтаріо. Українська Суспільна Служба – Гамільтон вже зареєструвала 74 українські сім’ї, які потребують допомоги.
