UCC Hamilton Scholarships 2023
Ukrainian Canadian Congress Hamilton Branch offers two types of scholarships:
1. John Kalyn Memorial Sports Scholarship - application deadline TBC
2. Michael Newynnyj Post Secondary School Scholarship - application deadline July 31, 2023
3. Marie Robbins Scholarship Fund
Application forms for the John Kalyn and Michael Newynnyj scholarship can be picked up at the Ukrainian Credit Union Ltd. Hamilton and Buduchnist Credit Union Hamilton or downloaded from below
Certain criteria need to be met in order to qualify.

John Kalyn Memorial Sports Scholarship
The John Kalyn Memorial Sports Scholarship is to recognize the athletic success of an individual of Ukrainian-Candian ancestry and/or a team representing the Ukrainian community in league competition.

Michael Newynny Post Secondary Scholarship
The Michael Newynnyj post-secondary scholarship has been developed to encourage students of Ukrainian-Canadian ancestry to actively participate in the Ukrainian community and culture.

Marie Robbins Scholarship Fund
Marie’s scholarship fund was created to help newly immigrated Canadians to obtain higher education.
Marie had spent a large portion of her life helping others, with the last ten years teaching English as a second language to new Canadians. She saw a need for young people without the financial wherewithal being unable to continue their education in college or university.
The fund was created to carry on her legacy of helping others and is prepared to help fund education for deserving new Canadians with annual funding, up to $5,000 per student per year.
